The Waldo
Logo Design | Branding | Strategy
JB Vang was developing a new property in the Gladstone area in Maplewood and looking to create a brand for the property to attract potential new renters. The main deliverables included name development, logo design, messaging, and brand positioning. Along with a brand guideline, stock photography options, and signage for the groundbreaking event.
With these tasks in mind my objective was to create a new brand identity for the launch of the new Gladstone Apartment Village property that will help attract families and sign new renters.
The Waldo is named after the first major of Maplewood Minnesota, Waldo Luebben. The icon was created using a maple leaf containing the letter W to pay tribute to the city of Maplewood and Waldo Luebben.
